Learning Upgrade gives each student their own path to learning success. The program offers over 1,020 lessons and 22 courses that work with students of all ages and abilities. Smartphone/tablet access gives learners an opportunity to “binge learn” at home, with innovative teaching videos, rigorous practice and audio-visual help for every incorrect answer. These courses have proven successful with adult students who previously had difficulty.
Tutor-based literacy programs, like Laubach Literacy NB can use Learning Upgrade as a supplement to their current tutor model, or transition from in-person to home learning using remote onboarding, automatic placement, and tracking. And with Learning Upgrade, tutors are able to track student progress in real-time.
Laubach Literacy NB is excited to offer this program to our existing adult learners and to new learners for whom sitting down with a tutor may be too difficult. It is understandable that some adult learners find it hard to share their struggle with others, and may resist asking for one-to-one help. What online courses are available?
All courses are available in English and include Reading, Math, and NEW! Digital Literacy. (A demo of digital literacy is not available at this time but includes things like internet and email basics, content creation, social media and personal privacy.)
