Laubach Literacy New Brunswick

(Moncton, New Brunswick – Sept. 8, 2014) – Are you a book lover with a little extra time on your hands?

A provincial non-profit group organizing a charity book sale is in need of volunteers to help sort books prior to the upcoming event and to assist at the sale itself.

Laubach Literacy New Brunswick will hold its first-ever “Bookstravaganza: A Really Big, Really Good, Really Fun Charity Book Sale” on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19 in the gymnasium of Edith Cavell School, 125 Park Street, Moncton. Funds raised will be used to increase awareness about LLNB’s free, one-to-one adult tutoring program, offered across New Brunswick.

Volunteers are needed to prepare for the book sale and to work shifts the weekend of the sale, says LLNB’s Executive Director Deanna Allen-Champagne.

“If you have a few hours to spare, we’d really love your help for a successful event,” says Allen-Champagne.
